The Rolling (Al-Takweer)
29 verses, revealed in Mecca after Thorns (Al-Masad) before The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the name of God, The Most Gracious, The Dispenser of Grace
When the sun shall be wound round, 1 When the stars fall, losing their lustre; 2 and when the mountains are moved, 3 when the pregnant camels are neglected, 4 And when wild animals are herded together. 5 when the seas shall be set boiling, 6 when the souls shall be coupled, 7 when the buried female infant is asked 8 for what sin she was killed, 9 When the ledgers are laid open, 10 And when the heaven shall be stripped off and taken away from its place; 11 and when Hell is set ablaze, 12 And when the Garden is brought near;- 13 then shall a soul know what it has produced. 14 Oh, but I call to witness the planets, 15 Go straight, or hide; 16 And by the night as it closes in 17 by the dawn sighing, 18 behold, this [divine writ] is indeed the [inspired] word of a noble apostle, 19 [Who is] possessed of power and with the Owner of the Throne, secure [in position], 20 [the word] of one to be heeded, and worthy of trust! 21 And (O people) your companion (Muhammad (Peace be upon him)) is not a madman; 22 He had surely seen Him on the clear horizon. 23 he is not niggardly of the Unseen. 24 nor is it a word of an accursed Satan. 25 Then where are you going? 26 This [message] is no less than a reminder to all mankind 27 (With profit) to whoever among you wills to go straight: 28 But you cannot will it unless God, the Sustainer of all the worlds, wills [to show you that way]. 29
God Almighty has spoken the truth.

Notes and Instructions
When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
