We also favoured Moses and Aaron, 114 And saved them and their people from the great distress, 115 and We helped them, so that they were victorious; 116 and We gave them the Book which helps to make things clear; 117 And We guided them both on the right way. 118 and preserved for them a good name among posterity. 119 'Peace be upon Moses and Aaron' 120 Indeed, We thus reward the doers of good. 121 For they were two of our believing Servants. 122 AND, BEHOLD, Elijah [too] was indeed one of Our message-bearers 123 when he spoke [thus] to his people: "Will you not remain conscious of God? 124 Would you call on Baal and leave the best of creators, 125 Allah, your Lord and the Lord of your fathers of yore? 126 But they rejected him, and they will certainly be called up (for punishment),- 127 except Allah's chosen servants. 128 And We left for him [favorable mention] among later generations: 129 Salamun (peace) be upon Ilyasin (Elias)!" 130 Lo! thus do We reward the good. 131 Verily he was one of Our bondmen believing. 132 And verily, Lout (Lot) was one of the Messengers. 133 We saved him and all his people, 134 Except an old woman who was one of those who stayed behind. 135 We then destroyed the others. 136 And indeed, you pass by them in the morning 137 and at night, will you not understand? 138
