Al-Ankaboot 2 of 7

And verily we sent Noah (as Our messenger) unto his folk, and he continued with them for a thousand years save fifty years; and the flood engulfed them, for they were wrong-doers. 14 We saved Noah and the people in the Ark and made (their case) a miracle for the world. 15 Abraham told his people, "Worship God and have fear of Him. It is better for you if only you knew it. 16 "For ye do worship idols besides Allah, and ye invent falsehood. The things that ye worship besides Allah have no power to give you sustenance: then seek ye sustenance from Allah, serve Him, and be grateful to Him: to Him will be your return. 17 If you belie me, other nations before you also belied. It is only for a Messenger to deliver the clear deliverance. 18 See they not how Allah originates creation, then repeats it: truly that is easy for Allah. 19 Say: Journey in the land, then behold how He originated creation; then God causes the second growth to grow; God is powerful over everything, 20 chastising whom He will, and having mercy on whomsoever He will, and unto Him you shall be turned. 21 You are not able to frustrate Him either in the earth or heaven, nor have you, other than Allah, a guardian or helper. 22
