BUT NAY! I call to witness all that you can see, 38 And by whatsoever you see not, 39 Behold, this [Qur'an] is indeed the [inspired] word of a noble apostle, 40 It is not the word of a poet: little it is ye believe! 41 Nor the word of a soothsayer; little do you remember. 42 [it is] a revelation from the Sustainer of all the worlds. 43 And if he (Muhammad SAW) had forged a false saying concerning Us (Allah), 44 We would indeed have seized him by his right hand 45 and would indeed have cut his life-vein. 46 not one of you could have prevented it from him. 47 And verily, this Quran is a Reminder for the Muttaqun (pious - see V. 2:2). 48 We certainly know that some among you will give the lie to it, 49 Indeed, it is a sorrow to the unbelievers 50 And lo! it is absolute truth. 51 Then magnify the Name of thy Lord, the All-mighty. 52
