The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)
In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful
I CALL TO witness the chargers, snorting, rushing to battle before the others, 1 Striking sparks of fire (by their hooves), 2 And push home the charge in the morning, 3 Then thereby raise dust, 4 And cleaving their way therein into the host, 5 That man is ungrateful to his Lord 6 and surely he is a witness against that! 7 And violent is he in his love of wealth. 8 ۞ Knows he not that when that which is in the tombs is over-thrown, 9 And the secrets of the hearts exposed, 10 indeed, on that Day their Lord will be aware of them! 11
