Al-Aadeyaat
The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)
In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate
By the snorting runners (the horses), 1 And striking off fire by dashing their hoofs. 2 as they gallop to make raids at dawn, 3 So thereupon raising dust. 4 which engulfs the enemy. 5 Most surely man is ungrateful to his Lord. 6 And indeed, he is to that a witness. 7 And indeed he is, in love of wealth, intense. 8 ۞ So does he not know? When those in the graves are raised, 9 And that which is in the breasts (of men) shall be made known. 10 Surely on that Day will their Lord be fully informed about them. 11
God Almighty has spoken the truth.
