Drivers of the Winds (Al-Dhaareyaat)
In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful
By the dipersing winds that disperse. 1 And those that lift and bear away heavy weights; 2 And those who move (on the water) gently, 3 and those that apportion [the gift of life] at [God's] behest! 4 surely that you are promised is true, 5 and the recompense shall surely happen. 6 by the heaven full of tracks, 7 Certainly, you have different ideas (about Muhammad SAW and the Quran). 8 Turned aside therefrom is who is turned aside. 9 Cursed be the liars, 10 Those who have forgotten in a state of intoxication. 11 They ask: When is the day of judgment? 12 It will be the Day when they shall be scourged by the Fire 13 Taste your burning: this is that which ye sought to be hastened. 14 Indeed the pious are among Gardens and water springs. 15 receiving what their Lord will give them because before this they were gooddoers. 16 sleeping little in the night-time, 17 And ere the dawning of each day would seek forgiveness, 18 And in their property was a portion due to him who begs and to him who is denied (good). 19 On the earth, and in yourselves, 20 And in your own selves; so can you not perceive? 21 And in heaven is your provision, and that you are promised. 22 So by the Lord of heaven and earth, it is as true as your speech. 23
