And man saith: When I am dead, shall I forsooth be brought forth alive? 66 Does man not remember that We created him before when he was nothing? 67 So by your Lord, surely, We shall gather them together, and (also) the Shayatin (devils) (with them), then We shall bring them round Hell on their knees. 68 and thereupon We shall, indeed, draw forth from every group [of sinners] the ones that had been most determined in their disdainful rebellion against the Most Gracious: 69 And surely We are Best Aware of those most worthy to be burned therein. 70 There is not one of you but will pass over it (Hell); this is with your Lord; a Decree which must be accomplished. 71 We will save the pious ones from the hell fire and leave the unjust people therein in crowded groups. 72 When Our clear revelations are recited to those who deny the Truth they are wont to say to those who have faith: "Which of the two groups has a better status and whose assemblies are grander?" 73 How many generations that had far more wealth and ostentation have We laid low before them! 74 Say: As for him who remains in error, the Beneficent Allah will surely prolong his length of days, until they see what they were threatened with, either the punishment or the hour; then they shall know who is in more evil plight and weaker in forces 75 And Allah increases in guidance those who go aright; and ever-abiding good works are with your Lord best in recompense and best in yielding fruit. 76 Note the words of the disbeliever, "I shall certainly be given wealth and children?" 77 What, has he observed the Unseen, or taken a covenant with the All-merciful? 78 Nay, but We shall record that which he saith and prolong for him a span of torment. 79 And it is We only Who shall inherit what he says (belongs to him), and he will come to Us, alone. 80 They have taken other deities besides God, so that they may be a source of strength for them. 81 By no means! anon they shall deny their worship, and become unto them an adversary. 82
