The Quake (Al-Zalzalah)

8 verses, revealed in Medina after Women (Al-Nesaa) before Iron (Al-Hadeed)

In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful

When the earth is shaken with her (violent) shaking, 1 And Earth yieldeth up her burdens, 2 and the human asks: "What is the matter with it?" 3 On that day she shall tell her news, 4 For that thy Lord will have given her inspiration. 5 On that Day people will go forth in varying states so that they be shown their deeds. 6 Whosoever has done even an atom's weight of good will behold it; 7 And whosoever has done even an atom's weight of evil will behold that. 8

God Almighty has spoken the truth.
