Hizb 46

And indeed Yunus is one of the Noble Messengers. 139 Call to mind when he fled to the laden ship, 140 And then they cast lots, and he was the one who lost; 141 Then a (big) fish swallowed him and he had done an act worthy of blame. 142 And were he not one of those who praise. 143 he would certainly have remained in its belly till the Day of Resurrection. 144 ۞ But We cast him forth on the naked shore while he was sick, 145 and We caused a gourd tree to grow over him. 146 And We sent him to a hundred thousand, rather they exceeded. 147 and they believed, and We gave them enjoyment for awhile. 148 Then ask them whether your Lord has daughters and they have sons. 149 Did We create the angels females, to which they were witnesses? 150 Pay heed! It is their slander that they say. 151 That “Allah has offspring”; and indeed, surely, they are liars. 152 Has He chosen daughters in preference to sons? 153 What ails you that you judge in such a wise? 154 Will ye not then reflect? 155 Or have you, perchance, a clear evidence [for your assertions]? 156 Produce, then, that divine writ of yours, if you are speaking the truth! 157 They have established a kinship between Allah and the angels; and the angels know well that these people will be arraigned (as culprits). 158 Purity is to Allah from the matters they fabricate. 159 Except the slaves of Allah, whom He choses (for His Mercy i.e. true believers of Islamic Monotheism who do not attribute false things unto Allah). 160 Lo! verily, ye and that which ye worship, 161 Can mislead anyone away from Him, 162 Except those who are predestined to burn in Hell! 163 None of us is there, but has a known station; 164 we are the rangers, 165 and we glorify God". 166 Even though they (unbelievers) say, 167 If we had but a reminder from the men of old 168 we would have been sincere worshipers of Allah' 169 They have rejected the Quran. They will soon know the consequences (of their disbelief). 170 And Our word has already preceded for Our servants, the messengers, 171 That they would certainly be assisted, 172 And that Our hosts, they verily would be the victors. 173 So turn (away) from them for a while. 174 And wait; they will come to know soon. 175 Then for Our punishment are they impatient? 176 When it descends upon their courtyards, evil will be the morning of those forewarned. 177 And turn away from them till a time 178 And watch, for they will (soon) see. 179 Your Lord, the Lord of Honor, is too exalted to be considered as they describe Him. 180 Peace be with the Messengers (of God). 181 and all praise be to Allah, the Lord of the Universe. 182
God Almighty has spoken the truth.
End of Surah: The Arrangers (Al-Saaffaat). Sent down in Mecca after Animals (Al-An 'aam) before Luqmaan (Luqmaan)
