(Muhammad) say, "I am only a warner. The only Lord is God, the Almighty. 65 Lord of the heavens and the earth and all that lies between them, all-mighty, all-forgiving." 66 Say: 'This is a mighty message 67 Ye are therefrom averting. 68 (Tell them): “I had no knowledge of the High Council when they were disputing. 69 Only this has been revealed to me that I am a distinct warner. 70 When thy Lord said unto the angels: Lo! I am about to create a mortal out of mire, 71 After I have created him and breathed into him of My spirit, fall you down, prostrating yourselves to him.” 72 Then the angels bowed themselves all together, 73 Saving Iblis; he was scornful and became one of the disbelievers. 74 He said: O Iblis! What hindereth thee from falling prostrate before that which I have created with both My hands? Art thou too proud or art thou of the high exalted? 75 He replied: “I am nobler than he. You created me from fire and created him from clay.” 76 "Begone! You are accursed: 77 "And verily!, My Curse is on you till the Day of Recompense." 78 He (satan) replied: 'Respite me my Lord till the Day of Resurrection' 79 (Allah) said: "Verily! You are of those allowed respite 80 for an appointed time". 81 [Iblis (Satan)] said: "By Your Might, then I will surely mislead them all, 82 excepting those Thy servants among them that are sincere.' 83 The Lord said, "I swear by the Truth - and I speak the Truth - 84 I will certainly fill the Gehenna with you and with all those among them who follow you.” 85 Say, "I do not ask you for any recompense for this, nor am I a man of false pretentions: 86 This is only a warning for mankind. 87 And ye will come in time to know the truth thereof. 88
