THUS, INDEED, did We bestow Our favour upon Moses and Aaron; 114 And delivered them and their people from the great affliction. 115 And helped them so that they became the victors. 116 and We gave them the Clear Book, 117 And guided them to the Right Path; 118 And left (their remembrance) for posterity. 119 Peace be unto Musa and Harun. 120 Thus do We reward the doers of good 121 Verily! They were two of Our believing slaves. 122 So also was Elias among those sent (by Us). 123 When he said to his people: Do you not guard (against evil)? 124 Do you call upon Ba'l and leave the best of creators - 125 Allah, your Lord and the Lord of your fathers of yore? 126 They called him a liar. Thus, all of them will suffer torment 127 Except the sincere and devoted Servants of Allah (among them). 128 We left him thus to be succeeded by a group [of followers] among the following generations -- 129 Peace be on Elias. 130 As such We recompense the gooddoers. 131 he was among Our believing servants. 132 And indeed Lut is one of the Noble Messengers. 133 We saved him and all his kinsmen, 134 except for an old woman who remained behind. 135 Then We destroyed the rest [i.e. the towns of Sodom at the place of the Dead Sea (now) in Palestine].
