O ye who believe! seek help with patient perseverance and prayer; for Allah is with those who patiently persevere. 153 Do not say that those killed in the Way of Allah are dead, they are alive, although you are unaware. 154 And most certainly shall We try you by means of danger, and hunger, and loss of worldly goods, of lives and of [labour's] fruits. But give glad tidings unto those who are patient in adversity 155 when a misfortune comes to them, they say, "We are Allah's and we shall certainly return to Him,'' 156 It is they who will receive blessings and mercy from God and who follow the right guidance. 157 ۞ Surely the Safa and the Marwa are among the signs appointed by Allah; so whoever makes a pilgrimage to the House or pays a visit (to it), there is no blame on him if he goes round them both; and whoever does good spontaneously, then surely Allah is Grateful, Knowing. 158 Those who conceal the clear (Signs) We have sent down, and the Guidance, after We have made it clear for the people in the Book,-on them shall be Allah's curse, and the curse of those entitled to curse,- 159 But from those who repent and mend their ways and make known the truth, I will certainly accept their repentance: I am the Ever Relenting, the Most Merciful. 160 Those who deny the truth, and die as deniers, on them shall be the curse of God and of angels and of men altogether. 161 Under which they will live, and their suffering will neither decrease nor be respite for them. 162 Your God is One God; there is no God except Him – the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful. 163
