Have you not seen how your Lord lengthens out the shadow? He could have kept it motionless if He liked. Yet We make the sun its pilot to show the way. 45 Then We draw it back to Us, withdrawing it little by little. 46 It is He who has appointed the night a mantle for you and sleep for a rest. The day He has appointed for rising. 47 It is He who sends the winds as heralds of His mercy and We send down pure water from the sky, 48 so, that with it We revive dead lands and provide drink for the cattle and the human We created. 49 And indeed We have distributed it (rain or water) amongst them in order that they may remember the Grace of Allah, but most men refuse (or deny the Truth or Faith) and accept nothing but disbelief or ingratitude. 50 And had We willed, We would have raised a warner in every town. 51 So do not follow the unbelievers, and strive against them a mighty striving with it. 52 ۞ And He it is Who hath given independence to the two seas (though they meet); one palatable, sweet, and the other saltish, bitter; and hath set a bar and a forbidding ban between them. 53 It is He who has created human beings from water and He has granted them the ties of blood as well as marriage. Your Lord is all powerful. 54 And they serve besides Allah that which neither profits them nor causes them harm; and the unbeliever is a partisan against his Lord. 55 We have sent you only as a bearer of glad tidings and as a warner. 56 Proclaim, “I do not ask any fee from you for this, except that whoever wills may take the way to his Lord.” 57 And put your trust (O Muhammad SAW) in the Ever Living One Who dies not, and glorify His Praises, and Sufficient is He as the All-Knower of the sins of His slaves; 58 He who created the heavens and the earth and what is between them in six days and then established Himself above the Throne - the Most Merciful, so ask about Him one well informed. 59 When you say to them: "Bow before Ar-Rahman," they say: "What is Ar-Rahman? Should we adore whoever you ask us to?" And their aversion increases further. ۩ 60
