Hoarding (Al-Takaathur)

8 verses, revealed in Mecca after Bounty (Al-Kawthar) before Charity (Al-Maa'oon)

In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful

Competition in [worldly] increase diverts you 1 until you come to the graves. 2 Nay, you will soon come to know; 3 Nay! Nay! you shall soon know. 4 Nay, if you could but understand [it] with an understanding [born] of certainty, 5 that you shall surely see Hell? 6 and you will see it with your own eyes. 7 Then, on that Day, you shall be asked about the delight (you indulged in, in this world)! 8

Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
End of Surah: Hoarding (Al-Takaathur). Sent down in Mecca after Bounty (Al-Kawthar) before Charity (Al-Maa'oon)
