And when Musa said to his servant: I will not cease until I reach the junction of the two rivers or I will go on for years. 60 Then, when they reached their meeting, they forgot their fish, and it took its way into the sea, burrowing. 61 When they had passed on (some distance), Moses said to his attendant: "Bring us our early meal; truly we have suffered much fatigue at this (stage of) our journey." 62 He said, 'What thinkest thou? When we took refuge in the rock, then I forgot the fish-and it was Satan himself that made me forget it so that I should not remember it -- and so it took its way into the sea in a manner marvellous.' 63 Moses said: "That was what we were seeking after:" So they went back on their footsteps, following (the path they had come). 64 and found one of Our worshipers to whom We had given from Our Mercy, and to whom We had taught knowledge of Ours. 65 Moses said to him, "May I follow you, so that you may guide me by what you have been taught?" 66 He (Khidr) said: "Verily! You will not be able to have patience with me! 67 'For how can you bear patiently with that which you have never encompassed in your knowledge' 68 Musa said: thou wilt find me, if Allah will, patient, and shall not disobey thee in any affair. 69 He said, “Therefore if you stay with me, do not ask me about anything until I myself mention it to you.” 70
