(Muhammad), remind them, by the Grace of your Lord, that you are neither a soothsayer or an insane person. 29 Or do they say:- "A Poet! we await for him some calamity (hatched) by Time!" 30 Say: 'Wait if you will; I shall be waiting with you' 31 Does their reasoning prompt them to this, or they are a people rebellious? 32 Or do they say, "He fabricated the (Message)"? Nay, they have no faith! 33 Then let them bring an announcement like it if they are truthful. 34 Or were they created out of naught? Or are they the creators? 35 Or did they create the heavens and the earth? Rather, they are not certain. 36 Are with them the treasures of thy Lord! or are they the dispensers? 37 Or have they a stairway [into the heaven] upon which they listen? Then let their listener produce a clear authority. 38 Or, has He daughters, and they sons? 39 Or do you ask them for a reward, so that they are over-burdened by debt? 40 Or, is the Unseen in their keeping, so they are writing it down? 41 Or seek they to ensnare (the messenger)? But those who disbelieve, they are the ensnared! 42 Is theirs a god beside Allah? Hallowed be Allah from that which they associate! 43 Were they to see a piece of the sky falling (on them), they would (only) say: "Clouds gathered in heaps!" 44 Then leave them, till they encounter their day wherein they shall be thunderstruck, 45 The Day when their guile shall not relieve them a thing, and they shall not be helped. 46 And verily, for those who do wrong, there is another punishment (i.e. the torment in this world and in their graves) before this, but most of them know not. [Tafsir At-Tabari, Vol. 27, Page 36]. 47 And wait patiently for the judgment of your Lord, for surely you are before Our eyes, and sing the praise of your Lord when you rise; 48 And in the night, give Him glory too, and at the setting of the stars. 49
