Again (of old) We bestowed Our favour on Moses and Aaron, 114 We saved them and their people from great distress; 115 And We supported them so it was they who overcame. 116 And We vouchsafed unto the twain a Book luminous. 117 And guided them to the Right Path; 118 And We left for them (a goodly remembrance) among generations (to come) in later times; 119 "Peace upon Moses and Aaron." 120 Even thus do We reward the doers of good. 121 Lo! they are two of Our believing slaves. 122 And Ilyas was most surely of the apostles. 123 Behold, he said to his people, "Will ye not fear (Allah)? 124 “What! You worship Baal (an idol) and leave the Best Creator?” – 125 Allah, your Lord and the Lord of your first forefathers?" 126 But they rejected him, and they will certainly be called up (for punishment),- 127 excepting only [those who were] God's true servants; 128 We perpetuated his praise in the later generations. 129 Peace be unto Elyasin. 130 Lo! thus do We reward the good. 131 Indeed, he was of Our believing servants. 132 Verily Lot was one of the apostles, 133 When We rescued him and his entire household. 134 except for an old woman who was among those that stayed behind. 135 Then We destroyed the others. 136 And indeed you pass over them in the morning. – 137 And at night; do you not then understand? 138
