Al-Hijjr 6 of 6
And the dwellers of Al Hijr also belied the Messengers. 80 And we gave them Our revelations, but they were averse to them. 81 They hewed their dwellings out of the mountains in safety. 82 An explosion struck them in the morning. 83 and that which they had earned did not help them. 84 We created not the heavens and the earth and all that is between them save with truth, and lo! the Hour is surely coming. So forgive, (O Muhammad), with a gracious forgiveness. 85 Verify thy Lord! He is the Great Creator, the Knower. 86 And We have certainly given you, [O Muhammad], seven of the often repeated [verses] and the great Qur'an. 87 Do not strain your eyes towards the worldly benefits We have bestowed on some of them, nor grieve on their account. Lower your wing of mercy for the believers 88 And say: Lo! I, even I, am a plain warner, 89 (Of a punishment) Like the one We sent down upon the dividers. 90 Who have made the Qur'an into portions. 91 by your Lord, We shall question them all 92 concerning that they were doing. 93 Therefore proclaim openly (Allah's Message Islamic Monotheism) that which you are commanded, and turn away from Al-Mushrikun (polytheists, idolaters, and disbelievers, etc. - see V. 2:105). 94 Surely We suffice to deal with those who scoff at you, 95 those who set up another deity alongside Allah. They shall soon come to know. 96 We do indeed know how your heart is distressed at what they say. 97 But hymn the praise of thy Lord, and be of those who make prostration (unto Him). 98 Worship your Lord until you achieve the ultimate certainty. 99
True are the words of Allah the Almighty.

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
