AND, INDEED, We have set up in the heavens great constellations, and endowed them with beauty for all to behold; 16 We have protected them from every condemned devil, 17 but if anyone eavesdrops, he is pursued by a bright flaming fire. 18 And the earth We spread out, and placed therein firm mountains, and caused to grow therein all kinds of things in due proportion. 19 And created livelihoods for you in it, and created those for whom you do not provide the sustenance. 20 And there is not a thing but its (sources and) treasures (inexhaustible) are with Us; but We only send down thereof in due and ascertainable measures. 21 And We send the winds fertilizing, then We send down water from the heaven and We give it to you to drink, and thereof ye could not be the treasurers. 22 for, behold, it is We - We alone - who grant life and deal death, and it is We alone who shall remain after all else will have passed away! 23 We know those who lived before you and those who will come after you. 24 Assuredly it is thy Lord Who will gather them together: for He is perfect in Wisdom and Knowledge. 25
