The people of Noah cried lies to the Envoys 105 when Noah, their brother, said to them: 'Will you not be cautious? 106 "I am to you a messenger worthy of all trust: 107 fear God, and obey me. 108 "No reward do I ask of you for it (my Message of Islamic Monotheism), my reward is only from the Lord of the 'Alamin (mankind, jinns and all that exists). 109 so fear God and obey me." 110 ۞ They said: "Should we place our trust in you when only the condemned follow you?" 111 He said: "And what knowledge have I of what they used to do? 112 Their account is only with my Lord, if you could perceive 113 "I am not one to drive away those who believe. 114 I am none but a plain warner." 115 They said: if thou desistest not, thou shalt surely be of those stoned. 116 [Whereupon] he prayed: "O my Sustainer! Behold, my people have given me the lie: 117 Therefore judge Thou between me and them with a (just) judgment, and deliver me and those who are with me of the believers. 118 And We saved him and those with him in the laden ship. 119 Then afterward We drowned the others. 120 Surely in that is a sign, yet most of them are not believers. 121 Your Lord is the Almighty, the Most Merciful. 122
