The Shocker (Al-Qaare'ah)
In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
The terrible calamity! 1 What is the terrible calamity! 2 And what will explain to thee what the (Day) of Noise and Clamour is? 3 It is a Day whereon mankind will be like moths scattered about, 4 and the mountains shall be like fluffs of carded wool in varying colours. 5 Then as for him whose measure of good deeds is heavy, 6 Will have a tranquil life; 7 but he whose deeds weigh light in the Balance 8 will have hawiyah as their dwelling. 9 And what shall make thee know that which she is? 10 It is a blazing fire. 11
