Do you not see that We have appointed devils to incite those who deny the truth to disobedience? 83 So do not be impatient for them (O dear Prophet Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him); We are only completing their number.* (* The number of days left for them or their evil deeds.) 84 On the day when We shall gather the righteous unto the Beneficent, a goodly company. 85 and We shall drive the guilty ones to Hell as a thirsty herd. 86 They will have no power of intercession, save him who hath made a covenant with his Lord. 87 They claim: "The Most Compassionate Lord has taken a son to Himself." 88 Surely you have made a monstrous statement. 89 Well-nigh the heavens are rent thereat and the earth cleft in sunder and the mountains fall down in pieces. 90 That men should ascribe a son to the Most Gracious, 91 For it is not consonant with the majesty of (Allah) Most Gracious that He should beget a son. 92 there is none in the heavens or on the earth but shall return to the Merciful in utter submission, 93 He has enumerated them and counted them a [full] counting. 94 Every one of them shall come to Him upon the Day of Resurrection, all alone. 95 Indeed, the Most Compassionate Lord will soon create enduring love for those who believe and do righteous works. 96 and only to this end have We made this [divine writ] easy to understand, in thine own tongue, [O Prophet,] so that thou might convey thereby a glad tiding to the God-conscious, and warn thereby those who are given to [futile] contention: 97 How many generations have We destroyed before them! Do you sense even one of them, or hear a whisper from them? 98
