Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)
In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful
By the (Winds) sent forth one after another (to man's profit); 1 By the raging hurricanes, 2 And by the winds that scatter clouds and rain; 3 then the criterion (the verses of Koran), separating 4 And those that bring down the Reminder 5 excusing or warning, 6 surely, that which you have been promised is about to fall! 7 So when the stars are made to lose their light, 8 Heavens will rent asunder. 9 And when the mountains are made into dust and blown away. 10 And when the apostles are collected at the appointed time, 11 To which Day has this task been deferred? 12 For the Day of Decision. 13 What will explain to you what the Day of Judgement is? 14 Woe on that day unto the beliers 15 Did We not destroy [so many of] those [sinners] of olden days? 16 So shall We make later generations to follow them. 17 This is how We deal with the guilty. 18 Woe, that Day, to the deniers. 19 Did We not create you from contemptible water? 20 which We then placed in a secure repository 21 until an appointed time? 22 For We do determine (according to need); for We are the best to determine (things). 23 On that day, woe would be upon those who have rejected the revelations of God! 24 Have We not made the earth a container 25 For the living and the dead among you? 26 And made therein mountains standing firm, lofty (in stature); and provided for you water sweet (and wholesome)? 27 Woe that day unto those who cry it lies! 28 Proceed now towards that which you were wont to deny as false; 29 “Move towards the shadow of the smoke having three branches.” 30 which neither gives shade nor protects one from the flames. 31 The fire will shoot out sparks as big as huge towers 32 As if they were tawny camels. 33 Ah woe, that Day, to the Rejecters of Truth! 34 This is the day they shall not speak 35 And they will not be permitted to put forth any excuse. 36 Woe on that Day to those who belied it! 37 That is the Day of Judgment. We will bring you together with all the ancient peoples. 38 If you have any plans, use them. 39 Woe, that Day, to the deniers. 40
