The News (Al-Naba')
40 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Heights (Al-Ma'aarej) before The Snatchers (Al-Naze'aat)
In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
۞ Concerning what are they disputing? 1 About the great event, 2 That over which they are in disagreement. 3 Indeed, they shall know! 4 Again, by no means! anon they shall know. 5 Have We not made the earth an even expanse? 6 and the mountains [its] pegs? 7 And We have created you in pairs; 8 And have made your sleep as a thing for rest. 9 And made the night as a covering, 10 And have appointed the day for livelihood. 11 And We have built above you seven strong (heavens), 12 And have kept a very bright lamp in it. 13 And do We not send down from the clouds water in abundance, 14 In order to produce grain and plants with it. 15 And gardens dense and luxuriant. 16 Verily the Day of Decision is a time appointed. 17 A day when the trumpet is blown and ye come in multitudes, 18 and heaven is opened, having gates, 19 And the mountains are removed and will be [but] a mirage. 20 Behold, Gehenna has become an ambush, 21 a resort for the rebellious; 22 They will abide therein for ages. 23 Neither coolness shall they taste therein nor any [thirst-quenching] drink 24 save boiling water and wash of the wounds; 25 a fitting requital, 26 They indeed hoped not for a reckoning, 27 They called Our revelations false with strong denial. 28 but We have placed on record every single thing [of what they did]. 29 (They will be told), "Suffer, We shall only increase the torment for you". 30

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
