The Inevitable (Al-Waaqe'ah)
96 verses, revealed in Mecca after T H (Taa Haa) before The Poets (Alshu'araa')
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
۞ WHEN WHAT IS to happen comes to pass -- 1 there is no denying its coming 2 abasing, exalting, 3 When the earth is shaken with convulsion 4 And the mountains shall be crumbled to atoms, 5 And become dust dispersing. 6 On that day, you (mankind) will be divided into three groups: 7 So those on the Right Hand (i.e. those who will be given their Records in their right hands), Who will be those on the Right Hand? (As a respect for them, because they will enter Paradise). 8 Companions of the Left (O Companions of the Left!) 9 The foremost ones (in faith and virtue) - the foremost ones in receiving their reward. 10 those are they brought near (to their Lord) 11 In gardens of delight; 12 A throng of the ancients, 13 and a lesser number from the later generations. 14 On lined couches, 15 reclining on them, arrayed face to face; 16 Immortal youths will wait upon them 17 Carrying bowls and pitchers – and cups filled with wine flowing before them. 18 Wherefrom they will get neither any aching of the head, nor any intoxication. 19 with fruits of their own choice 20 And the meat of fowl, from whatever they desire. 21 and fair maidens with large, lustrous eyes 22 as the likeness of hidden pearls, 23 a recompense for that they laboured. 24 They will not hear any unnecessary or sinful talk 25 Except the word peace, peace. 26 The Companions of the Right 27 [They, too, will find themselves] amidst fruit laden lote-trees, 28 Among Talh (banana-trees) with fruits piled one above another, 29 and shade extended, 30 And water gushing, 31 and an abundance of fruits, 32 never-ending and unforbidden. 33 And raised couches; 34 Indeed, We have produced the women of Paradise in a [new] creation 35 and We made them spotless virgins, 36 loving companions, matching in age, 37 For the sake of the companions of the right hand. 38

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
