And the people of the Hijr (rocks) denied the Noble Messengers. 80 We brought them signs, but they turned away. 81 notwithstanding that they had been wont [to enjoy Our blessings and] to hew out dwellings from the mountains, [wherein they could live] in security 82 But the Shout seized them in the morning, 83 that they earned did not avail them. 84 We have not created the heavens and the earth and all that is in between them except with Truth. Surely the Hour will come. So, (O Muhammad), do graciously overlook them (despite their misdeeds). 85 Verily, your Lord is the All-Knowing Creator. 86 And We have bestowed upon thee the Seven Oft-repeated (verses) and the Grand Qur'an. 87 Look not with your eyes ambitiously at what We have bestowed on certain classes of them (the disbelievers), nor grieve over them. And lower your wings for the believers (be courteous to the fellow-believers). 88 And say: 'I am the plain warner' 89 Like as We sent down on the dividers 90 and also divided the Quran believing in some parts and rejecting others. 91 so by your Lord, We will question them all 92 for what they have done 93 So declare to them what We have enjoined, and turn away from idolaters. 94 We will, surely, suffice you against those who mock, 95 Who make [equal] with Allah another deity. But they are going to know. 96 We certainly know that you feel sad about what they say against you. 97 So glorify the praises of your Lord and be of those who prostrate themselves (to Him). 98 And keep worshipping your Lord, till death* comes to you. (* The certainty.) 99
