And indeed Nooh prayed to Us – so what an excellent Acceptor of Prayer We are! 75 And We rescued him and his household from the great calamity. 76 and We made his seed the survivors, 77 and We left him thus to be remembered among later generations: 78 Peace be upon Noah among all the peoples! 79 Verily We! thus We recompense the well-doers. 80 Verily he was of Our bondmen believing. 81 Then We did drown the others. 82 ۞ Of his party was Abraham. 83 When he came to his Lord, with a sound heart. (Free from falsehood). 84 and [thus] spoke to his father and his people: "What is it that you worship? 85 "Is it a falsehood aliha (gods) other than Allah that you seek? 86 What then is your opinion of the Lord of the Worlds? 87 And he cast a look at the stars 88 And he said: verily I am about to be sick. 89 So they departed from him turning their backs. 90 Then he turned to their gods, and said, 'What do you eat? 91 What ails you, that you speak not?' 92 Then he started striking them down with his right hand. 93 So the disbelievers came running towards him. 94 Abraham said to them: “Do you worship what you yourselves have carved with your own hands 95 And Allah has created you and what you make. 96 They said, 'Build him a building, and cast him into the furnace!' 97 And they designed a snare for him, but We made them the undermost. 98 (Abraham) said, "I will go to my Lord who will guide me". 99 My Lord, grant me a righteous (son)' 100 We therefore gave him the glad tidings of an intelligent son. 101 And when he attained the age of running with him, he said: O my son! verily I have seen in a dream that I am slaughtering thee; so look, what considerest thou? He said: O my father! do that which thou art commanded; thou shalt find me, Allah willing, of the patients. 102 When they had both submitted to God, and he had laid his son down on his face, 103 We called to him, "O Abraham, 104 You have fulfilled your dream." Thus do We reward the good. 105 Verily that! that was a trial manifest. 106 And We ransomed him with a tremendous sacrifice, 107 And We perpetuated (praise) to him among the later generations. 108 Peace be with Abraham. 109 Indeed, We thus reward the doers of good. 110 for he was truly one of our believing servants. 111 And We gave him the good news of Isaac, a Prophet and among the righteous ones. 112 And We sent blessings upon him and Ishaq; and among their descendants – some who do good deeds, and some who clearly wrong themselves. 113
