But nay! I swear by all that ye see 38 And by oath of those you do not see. 39 [That] indeed, the Qur'an is the word of a noble Messenger. 40 And not the word of a poet. How little is it that you believe! 41 Nor is it the speech of a soothsayer; how little do you ponder! 42 Sent down by the Lord Of The Creation. 43 And if he had fabricated against Us some of the sayings, 44 We would indeed have seized him by his right hand 45 and would indeed have cut his life-vein, 46 and not one of you could have defended him. 47 And verily it is an admonition unto the God-fearing. 48 And behold, well do We know that among you are such as will give the lie to it: 49 Surely it is a sorrow to the unbelievers; 50 And He, He is indeed the ultimate Reality. 51 So glorify the name of thy Lord Most High. 52
