Hast thou not regarded those who dispute concerning the signs of God, how they are turned about? 69 Those who belie the Book and that with which We sent Our Messengers shall soon know. 70 when fetters will be placed around their necks and chains will drag them 71 Through boiling waters; then they are thrust into the Fire. 72 Then it will be said to them, "Where is that which you used to associate [with Him in worship] 73 "Besides Allah" They will say: "They have vanished from us: Nay, we did not invoke (worship) anything before." Thus Allah leads astray the disbelievers. 74 "This is so because you went about exulting wrongfully in the land," (will they be told), "and you were insolent. 75 Enter the gates of Gehenna and live there for ever. Evil is the lodging of the proud. 76 So be patient, (O Prophet). Surely Allah's promise is true. Whether We show them a part of the woeful consequences against which We warn them (while you are still in their midst) or We recall you (from this world) before that, eventually it is to Us that they shall be brought back. 77 Assuredly We have sent apostles before thee, of them are these whose story We have recounted unto thee and these whose story We have not recounted unto thee. And it was not possible for any apostle that he should bring a sign save by Allah's leave. So when the commade of Allah cometh, judgment will be given with truth, and then will lose the followers of falsehood. 78
