Charity (Al-Maa'oon)

7 verses, revealed in Mecca after Hoarding (Al-Takaathur) before The Disbelievers (Al-Kaaferoon)

In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful

Just look at him, who belies the religion! 1 Then such is the (man) who repulses the orphan (with harshness), 2 and urges not the feeding of the needy. 3 So woe to those that pray 4 Those who are neglectful of their prayer. 5 Those who do good deeds only to be seen (of men), 6 And refuse Al-Ma'un (small kindnesses e.g. salt, sugar, water, etc.). 7

Almighty Allah's Truth.
