Say: My Lord! If Thou shouldst show me that which they are promised. 93 My Lord, then do not place me among the wrongdoing people." 94 We have certainly the power to make you see what We have promised them. 95 Repel evil with what is best, We are well aware of the things they say, 96 Say, "Lord, I seek your protection against the strong temptations of the devils. 97 “And my Lord, (I seek) Your refuge from their coming to me.” 98 [For such is the state of the disbelievers], until, when death comes to one of them, he says, "My Lord, send me back 99 Haply I may do good in that which I have left. By no means! it is a (mere) word that he speaks; and before them is a barrier until the day they are raised. 100 So when the Trumpet is blown – so there will neither be any relationship among them* that day, nor will they ask about one another. (The disbelievers) 101 Then, those whose scales (of good deeds) are heavy, - these, they are the successful. 102 and he whose scales are light -- they have lost their souls in Gehenna dwelling forever, 103 The Fire will burn their faces, and therein they will grin, with displaced lips (disfigured). 104 Were not My communications recited to you? But you used to reject them. 105 'Lord' they will reply, 'adversity prevailed over us and we were erring. 106 "Our Lord! bring us out of this: if ever we return (to Evil), then shall we be wrong-doers indeed!" 107 Allah will say: "Away from Me; stay where you are and do not address Me. 108 You are those that when a party of My servants said: 'Our Lord, we believe, so forgive us, and have mercy on us, for You are the Best of those that are merciful,' 109 you made a laughingstock of them and your hostility to them caused you to forget Me, and you simply kept laughing. 110 Today I shall recompense them for their patience, for it is they that have won. 111 He will say: how long tarried ye on the earth in number of year? 112 They will say, "We stayed a day or part of a day. Ask those who have kept count." 113 He will say: 'You have tarried a little, did you know? 114 What! did you then think that We had created you in vain and that you shall not be returned to Us? 115 Then, exalted be God, the true King, there is no deity except Him, the Lord of the Glorious Throne. 116 And whosoever calls upon another god with God, whereof he has no proof, his reckoning is with his Lord; surely the unbelievers shall not prosper. 117 And say: 'My Lord, forgive and have mercy, for You are the Best of the merciful' 118
