The Key (Al-Faatehah)

7 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Hidden Secret (Al-Muddath-thir) before Thorns (Al-Masad)

In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful 1

Praise belongs to God, the Lord of all Being, 2 The Most Gracious, the Dispenser of Grace, 3 Sovereign of the Day of Recompense. 4 Thee alone do we worship; and unto Thee alone do we turn for aid. 5 Guide us to the straight path - 6 The way of those whom You have favoured, who did not incur Your wrath, who are not astray. 7

God the Almighty always says the truth.
