And when your Lord called out to Musa, saying: Go to the unjust people, 10 the people of Pharaoh; will they not be godfearing?' 11 Moses replied, "My Lord, I fear they will reject me, 12 And that my breast will tighten and my tongue will not be fluent, so send for Aaron. 13 "And they have a charge of crime against me, and I fear they will kill me." 14 He said: By no means, so go you both with Our signs; surely We are with you, hearing; 15 "And when you both come to Fir'aun (Pharaoh), say: 'We are the Messengers of the Lord of the 'Alamin (mankind, jinns and all that exists), 16 [Commanded to say], "Send with us the Children of Israel."'" 17 (Pharaoh) said (unto Moses): Did we not rear thee among us as a child? And thou didst dwell many years of thy life among us, 18 And thou didst that thy deed which thou didst; and thou art of the ingrates. 19 He (Moses) replied: 'Indeed, I did that when I was among those who stray. 20 so I fled from you, fearing you. But my Lord gave me Judgment and made me one of the Envoys. 21 “And is this some great reward for which you express favour upon me – that you have enslaved the Descendants of Israel?” 22 The Pharaoh asked: "And what is the Lord of all the worlds?" 23 [Moses] answered: "[He is] the Sustainer of the heavens and the earth and all that is between them: if you would but [allow yourselves to] be convinced!" 24 Said [Pharaoh] unto those around him: "Did you hear [what he said]?" 25 He said: Your Lord and the Lord of your fathers of old. 26 Said Firaun, “This (Noble) Messenger of yours, who has been sent towards you, has no intelligence!” 27 [Moses] said, "Lord of the east and the west and that between them, if you were to reason." 28 Pharaoh said, "If you take any deity other than myself, I will throw you into prison," 29 and Moses asked, "Even if I show you a clear sign?" 30 Pharaoh said, "Show it then, if you are telling the truth!" 31 So Moosa put down his staff and it became a visible serpent. 32 And he drew out his hand, and behold, it was white to all beholders! 33
