Proof (Al-Bayyinah)
In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful
Those who disbelieve from among the people of the Scripture (Jews and Christians) and among Al-Mushrikun, were not going to leave (their disbelief) until there came to them clear evidence. 1 An apostle from Allah, reciting pure pages, 2 therein true Books. 3 Nor did the People of the Book(s) get divided until after the clear proof came to them. 4 They were commanded only to serve God with all-exclusive faith in Him, to be upright, and to fulfil their devotional obligations, and to give zakat; for this is the even way. 5 Verily those who disbelieve from among the people of the Book and the associaters shall be cast into the Hell-fire, as abiders therein. These! they are the worst of the creation. 6 Those who have faith and do righteous deeds,- they are the best of creatures. 7 Their recompense with their Lord shall be Gardens Everlasting, whereunder rivers flow - as abiders therein for evermore. Well-pleased will be Allah with them and well-pleased will be they with Him, that is for him who feareth his Lord. 8
