T H (Taa Haa)
In the name of God, The Most Gracious, The Dispenser of Grace
۞ Ta' Ha' 1 We have not sent down the Koran upon thee for thee to be unprosperous, 2 but only as an exhortation for him who fears God; 3 a revelation from Him who created the earth and the high heavens; 4 The Most Merciful [who is] above the Throne established. 5 To Him belongs all that is in the heavens and all that is in the earth, and all that is in between, and all that is beneath the soil. 6 And if thou say anything aloud, [He hears it] since, behold, He knows [even] the secret [thoughts of man] as well as all that is yet more hidden [within him]. 7 Allah! there is no god but He! To Him belong the most Beautiful Names. 8 Has the story of Moses reached thee? 9 When he saw a fire and said to his family: "Hold on! I have just perceived a fire; perhaps I will bring a brand from it for you, or I will find some guidance at the fire about the way to follow." 10 When he came to it, a voice cried, 'Moses, 11 I am thy Lord; put off thy shoes; thou art in the holy valley, Towa. 12 and I have chosen thee [to be My apostle]: listen, then, to what is being revealed [unto thee]. 13 “Indeed it is Me, Allah – there is no God except I – therefore worship Me and keep the prayer established for My remembrance.” 14 “The Last Day will surely come – it was close that I hide it from all – in order that every soul may get the reward of its effort.” (He revealed it to His Prophets, so that people may fear and get ready. The exact time is not revealed to the people.) 15 Therefore let not him who believes not in it and follows his low desires turn you away from it so that you should perish; 16 And what is that in your right hand, O Moses?" 17 'It is my staff," Moses replied, "upon it I lean and with it I beat down leaves to feed my sheep and for me there are other uses in it' 18 He said: Cast it down, O Moses! 19 So Moosa put it down – thereupon it became a fast moving serpent. 20 Allah said: take hold of it, and fear not; We shall restore it to its former state. 21 And draw in your hand to your side; it will come out white without disease - another sign, 22 “In order that We may show you Our great signs.” 23 "[And now] go thou unto Pharaoh: for, verily, he has transgressed all bounds of equity. 24
