And when Moses said to his page, 'I will not give up until I reach the meeting of the two seas, though I go on for many years. 60 But when they reached the junction between the two [seas,] they forgot all about their fish, and it took its way into the sea and disappeared from sight. 61 So when they had gone beyond that place, Moosa said to his assistant, “Bring our breakfast – we have indeed faced great exertion in this journey of ours.” 62 He said, "Did you see when we retired to the rock? Indeed, I forgot [there] the fish. And none made me forget it except Satan - that I should mention it. And it took its course into the sea amazingly". 63 Moses said: "That is what we were looking for." So the two turned back, retracing their footsteps, 64 and they found one of Our servants to whom We had granted Our mercy and had given a knowledge from Ourself. 65 Moses said unto him: "May I follow thee on the understanding that thou wilt impart to me something of that consciousness of what is right which has been imparted to thee?" 66 He replied, "You will not be able to have patience with me. 67 for how couldst thou be patient about something that thou canst not comprehend within the compass of [thy] experience?" 68 Moses said, "If God wishes, you will find me patient and I shall not disobey any of your orders." 69 He (Khidr) said: "Then, if you follow me, ask me not about anything till I myself mention it to you." 70
