The Quake (Al-Zalzalah)

8 verses, revealed in Medina after Women (Al-Nesaa) before Iron (Al-Hadeed)

In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful

When Earth is shaken with her (final) earthquake 1 And the earth throws out its burdens. 2 And man says, “What has happened to it?” 3 On that Day she will tell out the tidings thereof. 4 Because your Lord sent a command to it. 5 On that Day mankind will proceed in bands, that they may be shewn their works. 6 Then shall anyone who has done an atom's weight of good, see it! 7 And anyone who has done an atom's weight of evil, shall see it. 8

Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
