In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful
The Striking Calamity - 1 What is the startling calamity? 2 And what will make you comprehend what the terrible calamity is? 3 It is a Day whereon mankind will be like moths scattered about, 4 and the mountains shall be like fluffs of carded wool in varying colours. 5 So for one whose scales prove heavy, 6 He will be in a pleasant life. 7 But as for him whose balance (of good deeds) will be light, 8 A bereft and Hungry One will be his mother, 9 How will you comprehend what that is? 10 (It is) a hot blazing Fire! 11
