The people of Noah [too] gave the lie to [one of God's] message-bearers 105 When their brother Nuh said to them: Will you not guard (against evil)? 106 Behold, I am an apostle [sent by Him] to you, [and therefore] worthy of your trust: 107 so serve you God, and obey you me. 108 I ask no recompense of you for it. My reward is due from none but the Lord of all the worlds. 109 So fear Allah and obey me. 110 ۞ They replied, "Are we to believe in you when your followers are but the lowest of the low?" 111 He said: I have no knowledge of that which they have been Working. 112 It is for my Lord to bring them to book, if you can understand. 113 "And I am not going to drive away the believers. 114 I am only a Prophet. 115 They said, "Noah, if you do not desist, you will, certainly, be stoned to death." 116 He said: my Lord! verily my people have belied me. 117 Therefore judge You between me and them, and save me and those of the believers who are with me." 118 Thereafter We rescued him and those who were with him in the laden Ark 119 and drowned the rest. 120 Most surely there is a sign in this, but most of them do not believe. 121 And verily! Your Lord, He is indeed the All-Mighty, the Most Merciful. 122
