The Shocker (Al-Qaare'ah)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Quraish (Quraish) before Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah)
In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful
The (unprecedented) crash! 1 What is the Striking Calamity? 2 And what will make you comprehend what the terrible calamity is? 3 (It is) a Day whereon men will be like moths scattered about, 4 and the mountains like tufts of carded wool. 5 Then as for him whose balance (of good deeds) will be heavy, 6 He will live a pleasant life. 7 And as for him whose balances are light, 8 Will have his home in a (bottomless) Pit. 9 And what do you know what that is? 10 It is the scorching fire. 11
Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
