Nay, verily: By the Moon, 32 And [by] the night when it departs 33 and the morning when it appears, 34 Verily, it (Hell, or their denial of the Prophet Muhammad SAW, or the Day of Resurrection) is but one of the greatest calamities. 35 It is a warning for mankind 36 To any of you that chooses to go forward (by working righteous deeds), or to remain behind (by commiting sins), 37 Every soul will be (held) in pledge for its deeds. 38 save the People of the Right Hand 39 who in their gardens will be enquiring 40 About Al-Mujrimun (polytheists, criminals, disbelievers, etc.), (And they will say to them): 41 "what led you into hell?" 42 and they shall reply, "We were not among those who prayed; 43 "Nor we used to feed Al-Miskin (the poor); 44 And we used to enter into vain discourse with those who entered into vain discourses. 45 And we have been belying the Day of Requital. 46 until certainty came upon us [in death]." 47 So the intercession of intercessors shall not avail them. 48 What is the matter with people that they are turning away from this Exhortation, 49 like frightened donkeys 50 That had fled from a lion? 51 Indeed, each one of them desires to be given unrolled scrolls. 52 No indeed; the truth is that they have no fear of the Hereafter. 53 but this is truly a reminder. 54 So whosoever will may heed. 55 But they will not remember except as God wills: He is worthy to be feared, and He is worthy of forgiving 56
