[Musa (Moses)] said: "O my Lord! Open for me my chest (grant me self-confidence, contentment, and boldness). 25 And ease for me my task 26 and loosen the knot from my tongue 27 so that they might fully understand my speech, 28 And appoint for me a minister from my family - 29 Aaron, my brother. 30 “Back me up with him.” 31 "And make him share my task: 32 That we may hallow Thee oft. 33 And much remember Thee. 34 “Indeed You see us.” 35 He said: Thou art granted thy request, O Moses. 36 And assuredly We conferred a benefit on thee another time. 37 When We told your mother what We relate: 38 "'Throw (the child) into the chest, and throw (the chest) into the river: the river will cast him up on the bank, and he will be taken up by one who is an enemy to Me and an enemy to him': But I cast (the garment of) love over thee from Me: and (this) in order that thou mayest be reared under Mine eye. 39 When your sister went and said: Shall I direct you to one who will take charge of him? So We brought you back to your mother, that her eye might be cooled and she should not grieve and you killed a man, then We delivered you from the grief, and We tried you with (a severe) trying. Then you stayed for years among the people of Madyan; then you came hither as ordained, O Musa. 40 And I have attached thee to Myself. 41 go therefore, thou and thy brother; with My signs, and neglect not to remember Me. 42 Go to Pharaoh, for he has become insolent. 43 And speak unto him a gentle word, that peradventure he may heed or fear. 44 They said: Our Lord! Lo! we fear that he may be beforehand with us or that he may play the tyrant. 45 He said; fear not; verily I shall be with you twain: I shall hear and see. 46 Go, then; you two unto him and say, 'Behold, we are apostles sent by thy Sustainer: let, then, the children of Israel go with us, and cause them not to suffer [any longer]. We have now come unto thee with a message from thy Sustainer; and [know that His] peace shall be [only] on those who follow [His] guidance: 47 for, behold, it has been revealed to us that [in the life to come] suffering shall befall all who give the lie to the truth and turn away [from it]!"' 48 The Pharaoh asked them, "Who is your Lord?" 49 Musa said: our Lord is He who vouchsafed unto everything its creation, then guided it. 50 He (Pharaoh) asked: 'How was it then, with the former generations' 51 He replied: "The knowledge of that is with my Lord, duly recorded: my Lord never errs, nor forgets,- 52 Who hath appointed the earth as a bed and hath threaded roads for you therein and hath sent down water from the sky and thereby We have brought forth divers kinds of vegetation, 53 Eat and pasture your cattle; most surely there are signs in this for those endowed with understanding. 54

When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
