Al-Saaffaat 4 of 5
And We verily gave grace unto Moses and Aaron, 114 and saved them and their people from great distress. 115 And We helped them, so they were victorious. 116 And We gave them the clear Scripture; 117 And We guided them to the Straight Way. 118 And We perpetuated (praise) to them among the later generations. 119 "Peace be upon Moses and Aaron!" 120 Thus do We reward the doers of good 121 Verily! They were two of Our believing slaves. 122 And verily, llyas was one of the sent ones. 123 He told his people, "Why do you not have fear of God? 124 Do you call upon Baal and forsake the Best of the Creators? 125 God your Lord and Lord of your forefathers?" 126 But they rejected him, and they will certainly be called up (for punishment),- 127 Except the bondmen of Allah sincere. 128 and him We left thus to be remembered among later generations: 129 "Peace and salutation to such as Elias!" 130 That is how We reward those who do good. 131 Lo! he is one of our believing slaves. 132 And verily Lut was of the sent ones. 133 When We delivered him and his followers, all-- 134 Except an old woman, who became of those who stayed behind. 135 Then We destroyed the others. 136 You pass by their ruins morning 137 And at night; will you not then reflect? 138

Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
