Is he whose breast God has expanded unto Islam, so he walks in a light from his Lord...? But woe to those whose hearts are hardened against the remembrance of God! Those are in manifest error. 22 God has revealed the best reading material in the form of a Book with similar passages which refer to each other and make the skins of those who fear their Lord shiver. Then their skins and hearts incline to the remembrance of God. This is the guidance of God. He guides whomever He wants. No one can guide those whom God has caused to go astray. 23 Is there anyone who is afraid of the torment of the Day of Judgment when the unjust will be told, "Suffer the result of your deeds?" 24 Those before them had denied, then punishment had overtaken them is from a quarter they did not suspect. 25 So Allah made them taste humiliation in the life of this world; and indeed the punishment of the Hereafter is the greatest; if only they knew! 26 And certainly We have set forth to men in this Quran similitudes of every sort that they may mind. 27 a Quran in Arabic, free from any ambiguity -- so that people may be mindful. 28 Allah has struck an example of a man shared by disagreeing partners, and a man who is owned by just one man, are the two equally alike? Praise belongs to Allah, but most of them do not know. 29 Truly thou wilt die (one day), and truly they (too) will die (one day). 30 Then surely on the day of resurrection you will contend one with another before your Lord. 31
