The Shocker (Al-Qaare'ah)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Quraish (Quraish) before Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah)

In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful

OH, the sudden calamity! 1 What is the startling calamity? 2 And what can make you know what is the Striking Calamity? 3 The day that men shall be like scattered moths, 4 And mountains will be like flying wool. 5 Then as for one whose scales are heavy [with good deeds], 6 Will be in a life of good pleasure and satisfaction. 7 But as for him whose scales are light, 8 the Abyss shall be his home. 9 And what shall teach thee what is the Pit? 10 A Fire vehemently hot! 11

True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
