▼ 56 The Inevitable
Al-Waaqe'ah 3 of 3
۞ I do not need to swear by the setting of the stars 75 And that is indeed a mighty adjuration if ye but knew,- 76 Indeed, it is a noble Qur'an 77 [conveyed unto man] in a well-guarded divine writ 78 Which none toucheth save the purified, 79 a sending down from the Lord of all Being. 80 Is it such a talk (this Quran) that you (disbelievers) deny? 81 You live by calling it a lie. 82 Then why do you not (intervene) when (the soul of a dying person) reaches the throat? 83 And you wait for the moment (of death), 84 – at that moment when We are closer to him than you, although you do not see (Us) 85 So why is it not, that if you are not to be repaid, – 86 do you not bring back his soul, if you speak truly? 87 And if the deceased was of those brought near to Allah, 88 (There is for him) Rest and Satisfaction, and a Garden of Delights. 89 And if he is one of those on the right hand, 90 it will be with the people of the right hand, living in peace and security. 91 And if he be of those who treat (Truth) as Falsehood, who go wrong, 92 Then [for him is] accommodation of scalding water 93 and the heat of a blazing fire! 94 Verily, this! This is an absolute Truth with certainty. 95 Therefore glorify the name of your Lord, the Great. 96
True are the words of Allah the Almighty.

عند قراءة القرآن الملون في وضعية اللغة العربية المرسومة بالأحرف الإنجليزية، قد لا تلاحظ وجود منظومة برمجية مصممة لمطابقة متطلبات علامات الوقف في النص العربي الأصلي. فكما تعلم، يحتوي القرآن على خمسة أنواع رئيسية من علامات الوقف. (1) وقف لازم، حيث يستخدم الرسم الإنجليزي نقطة وقف. (2) وقف جائز مع الوقف أولى، حيث يستخدم الرسم الإنجليزي فاصلة قد تظهر باحتمال الثلثين. When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
