But no; I swear by what you see, 38 and by what you do not see, 39 That this is verily the word of an honoured Messenger [i.e. Jibrael (Gabriel) or Muhammad SAW which he has brought from Allah]. 40 It is not poet's speech - little is it that ye believe! 41 Nor is this the speech of a soothsayer. Little do you reflect! 42 It has been sent down by the Lord of all the worlds. 43 Had he invented sayings against Us, 44 We surely should have seized him by his right hand (or with power and might), 45 then, We would surely have cut from him the aorta (vein) 46 and none of you could have held Us off from him. 47 And verily, this Quran is a Reminder for the Muttaqun (pious - see V. 2:2). 48 And verily We! We know that some among you are beliers thereof. 49 and (on the Day of Judgment) this will be a great source of regret for the unbelievers. 50 But verily it is Truth of assured certainty. 51 Extol, then the limitless glory of thy Sustainer's mighty name! 52
