Al-Aadeyaat
The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)
In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful
By the (steeds) that run, with panting (breath), 1 And striking off fire by dashing their hoofs. 2 And raiding at dawn 3 Stirring up thereby [clouds of] dust, 4 forcing their way into the midst of the enemy, 5 Verily man is most ungrateful to his Lord; 6 And indeed he himself is a witness to it. 7 He certainly has a strong love for wealth and riches. 8 ۞ Does he not then know when what is in the graves is raised, 9 and that which is in the breasts is brought out -- 10 indeed, on that Day their Lord will be aware of them! 11
God Almighty has spoken the truth.
