Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)
8 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa) before The Afternoon (Al-'Asr)
In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful
۞ Have We not opened your breast for you (O Muhammad (Peace be upon him))? 1 And removed from you your burden, 2 Which pressed heavily upon your back, 3 Did We not exalt thy fame? 4 For indeed, with hardship [will be] ease. 5 Most certainly, there is ease with hardship. 6 So when you have finished (from your occupation), then stand up for Allah's worship (i.e. stand up for prayer). 7 And to your Lord (Alone) turn (all your intentions and hopes and) your invocations. 8
True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
